Church Family

St. Peter's is a lively, family-friendly Church with both traditional and modern services within strong community links. We have a Sunday School, mid-week Toddler groups and club for the youth in the community. Our Church is comfortable and warm in welcome!

Communion is open to ALL those who are baptised and EVERYONE is welcome at the Communion rail for a blessing if this is preferred,

Under 5's are VERY welcome with their own corner for parent-supervised quiet play (though we enjoy the occasional "contributions" from little voices!).

There is prayer ministry offered after Sunday services.

At St Peter's we value deepening our discipleship through weekly small groups. These meet on Mondays and Tuesdays, day and evening time. Most are mixed groups, but we also have one 'Man Power' group exclusively for... yep, you guessed it: men at church!

We also hold services at local care homes for the elderly as part of our programme of outreach.

You are welcome to visit us and join with us in worship!

Church Building

Seating up to 400, St. Peter's is a popular and attractive venue for Weddings and Baptisms as well as occasional concerts.

We have a Chapel within the church building, ideal for smaller weddings, providing a more intimate feel.

Please contact the Vicar, Rev. Jenny Buckler for further information on 01653 228827 or email [email protected]
